Genesis Employment Services

For 11+ years, Genesis Employment Services has been providing employment training services to individuals through the Social Security Administration’s Ticket to Work (TTW) program and through a local state Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) program.

Our specialized training provides job seekers with the tools and techniques they need to successfully identify, pursue, and obtain employment opportunities. Ticket To Work

What is the Ticket to Work program?

Ticket to Work is a free and voluntary program that helps individuals with disabilities move toward financial independence and connects them with the services and supports they need to succeed in the workforce.

Who is the Ticket to Work program for?

The TTW program is for individuals ages 18–64 who receive Social Security disability benefits (SSI or SSDI) and want to work, with the goal of eventually getting off their Social Security benefits. The TTW program is a good fit for individuals who want to improve their earning potential and are committed to preparing for long–term success in the workforce.

Career Planning

Identify short-term and long-term employment goals, exploring different employment options and establishing steps to obtain those goals.

Resumé/Cover Letter Training

Create customized resumes and cover letters for each position that successfully get in front of the hiring manager.

Job Searching

Utilize methods to find job leads with less competition, including the use of job boards, networking, and researching unmet business needs.

Application Training

Effectively complete job applications, pre-employment testing, Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) surveys, and questionnaires.
